What it really means to LOVE in marriage

Love is only looked at as an emotion which means it will not always be there.

Marriage will allow you to see your significant other in an astounding view. Many want to get married but have no understanding of who created it. Unfortunately, this leads to a marriage that stops at, "I love you" on wedding day. The commitment doesn't continue through God; it's conditional. Love is only looked at as an emotion which means it will not always be there. Like all emotions it goes up and down. When love based marriage runs low on fuel then that means the commitment has space to run low as well. Unions need to refocus and build the foundation of marriage on the Word of God. Find your marriage built on solid foundation instead of sand.

Don't get it wrong, love is important. Yet, most people's mistake is that they are looking at love in the wrong way. People look at love through the lens of, "I'm going to love you until I die." or "I love my grandmother so much." True, those aspects aren't wrong but the deeper element of love is subject, not verb based. 1 Corinthians 13 states that, "Love is patient, love is kind, it does not boast...". To love is to do, not be. Granted this does take some internalization, but the masses will realize this one day.
